MIC AISP 2014年第三季台灣有線寬頻設備產業產銷暨重要趨勢分析

前言

觀察全球固網DSL與Cable Modem寬頻用戶數發展，截至2014年Q2為止，DSL全球用戶數達446.3百萬，相較2013同期成長6.1%，但相較往年成長力道已趨緩；Cable modem用戶數則達134.3百萬，較2013年同期成長5.4%，但相較過去的增長動能同樣呈現出疲軟的態勢。此外，DSL及Cable modem在北美的新增用戶數皆呈現下滑，推估原因為在4G行動寬頻的普及與競爭下，DSL及Cable modem的用戶成長空間受到更明顯的壓縮。而在新興市場的用戶數表現上，包括巴西、緬甸、波蘭等家戶數較多的國家中，固網的用戶在電信商的持續推動下，成長狀況也較佳。
