China's ZTE Awarded Nucleus Connect Contract to Build OSS/BSS for Singapore

Chinese telecom equipment and network solution
provider ZTE Corporation has been awarded a contract by Nucleus Connect to
build OSS (Operational Support System) and BSS (Business Support System) platforms
for Singapore's Next Generation NBN (Nex Gen Nationwide Broadband Network),
according to a press release by the company on June 22, 2011. Nucleus Connect
is the operating company of Singapore's Next Gen NBN. It is expected that SingTel
and StarHub, two major telecom operators of Singapore, will share the OSS and
BSS platforms as they provide services over the Next Gen NBN. ZTE has already
begun work on the OSS and BSS. Further details have not been disclosed.
