operator Chunghwa Telecom and LG jointly introduced an entry-level Smartphone Optimus
One P500 on November 2, 2010 in Taiwan, according to the Economic Daily News of
Taiwan. It is reported that the Optimus One Smartphone, running on Google's
Android 2.2 operating system, will be available in over 90 countries worldwide.
LG's Taiwan subsidiary said that the company has unveiled two Smartphones in
Taiwan up to now, and it plans to release another LG Smartphone at the end of
this year. It is reported that LG aims to reach 10% share in the Taiwanese
Smartphone market until December this year and 15% next year.
