ZTE Unveils the Company's 1st Android Tablet PC

telecom equipment manufacturer ZTE introduces its first tablet PC, ZTE Light, on
October 12, 2010, according to Reuters. Using Google's Android platform, the
new tablet PC features a 7-inch touch screen and supports both GSM (Global
System for Mobile Communications) and WCDMA (Wideband Code Division Multiple
Access) standards. It is reported that the arrival of ZTE Light signals the
start of price competition in the tablet PC market. ZTE Light is expected to
hit the market before the end of this year, but retail price is yet to be
announced.
