Samsung's Galaxy Tab Uses Corning's Gorilla Glass

announced on October 4, 2010 that Samsung's Galaxy Tab has adopted Corning
Gorilla glass as its cover glass, according to a press release by Corning.
Introduced on September 2, 2010 at the IFA (Internationale
Funkausstellung Berlin) consumer
electronics show held in Berlin, Germany, the Galaxy Tab, with a screen size of
seven-inches, is equipped with video calling, complete internet browsing
functions, and run on Android 2.2 operating system. It is reported that Corning
Gorilla glass, featuring scratch and damage resistance, is designed into more
than 225 mobile devices up to now, according to Corning again.
