2016年第一季全球主機板出貨量約28,699千片,相較於上一季下滑11.2%。探究原因,除了2015年第四季基期墊高之外,主要仍歸因於市場需求萎靡不振之故。過去幾年受惠於中國經濟成長力道相對強勁,消費市場需求提升,因此每逢農曆年節總能帶動一波購物潮,主機板出貨表現連帶受惠。然而,隨著經濟發展不確定因素攀升,2016年第一季的小旺季效應未能出現,對於以中國市場為主的廠商,衝擊甚大。另外,即便DDR4價格下滑,對於PC產品需求的推動有所助益,但仍無力彌補搭載DDR3的機種出貨量下滑速度。整體而言,第一季主機板出貨表現仍不如預期。展望第二季,估計全球主機板出貨量將持續下滑,出貨量預估約27,585千片,季成長率約-3.9%。 第二季本是傳統淡季,加上全球總體經濟走勢不明,廠商普遍採取保守策略,以通路調節為主,並避免過度供貨造成產品滯銷;加上第二季無新品問世,在無市場題材的情況下,主機板出貨表現難有突破。產值方面,在無高階新品挹注下,平均ASP將下滑,預估2016年第二季全球主機板產值約1,139百萬美元,季成長率為-6.6%。
