This research report presents shipment value forecast and recent quarter review of the Taiwanese fabless IC industry. The report includes fabless IC shipment value, product mix, and application mix analyses. The content of this report is based on primary data obtained through interviews with fabless IC design houses, and publicly available information such as corporate financial statements. The report projects a 5.4% sequential decline in the Taiwanese fabless IC industry's shipment value in the first quarter of 2014, to around US$3.93 billion. Looking forward to the second quarter, the industry's shipment value is expected to be on the rebound, registering a double-digit sequential growth to reach US$4.55 billion.
