Abstract

48% of respondents intending to buy an Alcatel mobile phone considered "international brand" and "reasonable price" as the primary purchasing factors. For respondents intending to buy a Nokia, Motorola, or Philips mobile phone, "high brand-name recognition" is the most important factor in their purchase decision-making, accounting for 77%, 75%, and 57% respectively.
