Abstract

In the past, the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) always is held ahead of MWC (Mobile World Congress), gathering all branded vendors to demonstrate their Smartphones. However, with an aim to steal the spotlight at the MWC, the degree of innovation in Smartphones demonstrated at the CES is always relatively limited. At this year's CES, it is noted that several Chinese branded vendors demonstrated several new models while Smartphone application processor brands debuted several preventative products as well. This report profiles Smartphones - demonstrated by Sony, HTC, and Chinese branded vendors such as Huawei and Lenovo - and Smartphone application processors by Qualcomm, Samsung, Nvidia, ST-Ericsson, and Intel, with respective model specs provided.
