Abstract

The report finds that the Taiwanese WLAN industry's shipment volume slipped 1.7% sequentially in the second quarter of 2017, to approximately 141 million units, owing mainly to the decreased sales of PCs, notebook PCs, tablets, smartphones, and game consoles worldwide. It is anticipated that shipment volume of the industry will hit 594.2 million units in 2017, up 5.7%  year-on-year; its shipment value will grow 6.3% year-on-year to around USD2.47 billion.
