Samsung Electronics is planning to release a new tablet PC product running on Microsoft's new software system Windows 8, according to a September 9, 2011 report by the Korea Economic Daily. The new product is projected to be launched at Microsoft's developers' conference, dubbed BUILD, to be held in California from September 13 to 16 this year. The release of the new tablet PC is reported to be the first cooperation between Samsung and Microsoft on hardware devices.
