CMO, PVI Ink E-paper MOU

Taiwanese LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) panel
manufacturer CMO and EPD (Electrophoretic Display) manufacturer PVI (Prime View
International) have signed an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) for e-paper
production collaboration on October 1, The Liberty Times of Taiwan reported. As
per the MOU, PVI has secured full support in production capacity from CMO's 5G
lines. CMO currently has two 5G production lines, operating at a combined capacity
of 325,000 units. It is expected that by establishing panel supply partnership
with PVI, CMO will be able to diversify the applications of its 5G capacity. CMO
is scheduled to begin shipments to PVI starting this month, according to the
Liberty Times report.
