Sintek Photronic to Invest in Touch Panel Plant in Nanjing

According to a filing with the Taiwan Stock Exchange, Taiwanese CF (Color Filter) maker Sintek Photronic decided to establish a touch panel plant in Nanjing, China. On August 20, the board of the company approved the indirect investment of US$21 million in the Nanjing plant, tentatively named Nanjing Sintek Photronic. The Nanjing plant is expected to engage in the manufacturing and sales of touch panel modules and LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) modules, as stated in the stock exchange filing.
