MSI to Unveil Google Android-powered Netbook PC in July 2009

Taiwanese MSI (Micro-Star International) plans to introduce a netbook PC  based on Google's open source mobile platform, Taiwan's Economic Daily News reported on April 23. With the technical support from Taiwan's III (Institute for Information Industry), the new device - boasting to be the world's first Android-powered netbook PC - will be debuted at 2009 Computex Taipei, according to the same source. MIS, however, declined to comment on the report. Further details regarding the specifications of the netbook PC were not yet known.
