It is reported that Taiwanese LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) panel manufacturer CMO has obtained Chinese TV manufacturers' orders for 10 million LCD panels overall, which will be shipped over a period of four years, according to Chinese-language Commercial Times of Taiwan on January 6. The panels to be delivered by CMO are projected to consist mainly of 22-, 26-, and 32-inch models, as demand for small- and medium-sized LCD TVs is expected to see substantial growth spurred by China's subsidy program for home appliance purchase in the rural regions.
