Taiwan's Innolux to Adjust Down Capacity at New 6G Plant
October 17, 2008
Taiwanese LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) panel maker Innolux Display plans to adjust down its projection of capacity expansion at a new 6G plant, Taipei Times reported on October 15. Innolux is expected to reduce the production capacity of the new 6G plant by one third from 90,000 1,500mmx1,850mm glass substrates to 60,000. Nevertheless, equipment loading at the company's existing plants will not be affected. Further capacity expansion will be contingent on actual market demand.
