Taiwan-based LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) panel maker CMO and monitor maker TPV plan to strengthen their collaboration on LCD TV assembly in China, according to Taiwan's Economic Daily News. It is reported that CMO will team up with TPV and another LCD TV and monitor maker Proview for the establishment of manufacturing complexes incorporating LCD module production and LCD TV assembly in Hubei and Sichuan.

At the same time, TPV also plans to set up an LCD module and TV plant in Shishan Science and Technology Industrial Zone of Foshan, Guangdong Province, according to a SinoCast report. Currently CMO has already invested in two LCD panel plants in the Nanhai District of Foshan. It is expected that with the establishment of TPV's new facility, the two companies will further consolidate their collaboration.
