Following its tie-up plan with China's Potevio announced on July 18, 2008, Italian IT equipment provider MyWave Electronics also entered a cooperation agreement with US-based Qualcomm, PR Newswire reported on July 28. Pursuant to the agreement, Qualcomm has granted MyWave a patent license to develop, manufacture, and sell modem card and modules based on WCDMA and/or TD-SCDMA technologies. MyWave will pay the royalties based on Qualcomm's standard worldwide rates.
