Compal to Invest US$30 Mln in Vietnam Notebook PC Plant

As a follow-up to an Asia Express dated July 6, Compal announced that it will initially invest approximately US$30 million in its new notebook PC plant in Vietnam, according to Taiwan's Commercial Times. Compal's Vietnam plant is expected to reach a monthly capacity of 300,000 to 500,000 units by the fourth quarter of 2009.
