China's National Development and Reform Commission has approved the production line of large-size TFT-LCD color filters proposed by SVA-Fujifilm Opto-Electronic Materials, a joint venture between China's SVA and Japan's Fuji Photo Film. SVA-Fujifilm is capitalized at US$100 million, with the overall investment expected to top US$267 million. The production line is projected to be operational in November 2007.
