Wistron Builds Plant in Czech Republic
October 25, 2006
Wistron, a Taiwan-based contract manufacturer, recently announced that it has kicked off construction of a new plan in Czech Republic to replace its Hungary plant closed in early 2006, aiming for better market presence and lower delivery costs. This new plant is expected to begin operations in 2007, and will initially focus on products characterized by large size and high tariff, such as LCD TVs. The production line will be expanded further in the future.
