Seiko Epson Unveils World's Thinnest Bendable Electronic Paper

According to the Nihon Keizai Shimbun, Japanese Seiko Epson has developed bendable electronic paper as thin as photocopying paper. Seiko Epson claims this 0.96-millimeter electronic paper to be the thinnest model ever, merely one fourth as thick as existing ones. Weighing 0.44 grams, this new display device has a 2.1-inch screen and a resolution of 192 dpi. It can be folded for safe storage and will be used in electronic books.
