Fuji Photo Film, SVA to Form CF JV in Shanghai

Fuji Photo Film has agreed to form a joint venture with Chinese SVA Electron to build a CF (Color Filter) plant in Shanghai. This plant will supply CFs to SVA and is expected to start mass production in the second half of 2007. The joint venture will be capitalized at approximately US$100 million, though details as to each company's stake size have not been made public yet.
