LPL Plans for 5.5G Line

According to Taiwanese news media reports, in order to round out its production lines, Korean LPL has decided to set up a 5.5G line to produce substrates measuring 1,320x1,500mm for notebook PCs. Equipment installation is expected to start in the first quarter of 2007 and the monthly capacity is likely to reach 90,000 units.
