Taiwanese Eureka, Fitipower to Merge in May 2006

Taiwanese ELAN Microelectronics has announced that Fitipower Integrated Technology will merge into its subsidiary Eureka Microelectronics. Currently, the two merging companies are both active in LCD drivers ICs, with Eureka shipping these ICs to customers including Innolux and CPT. Fitipower also has strong power-management IC capabilities.
