Forhouse to Set Up Backlight Module Company in China

Taiwanese Forhouse recently announced it will make an initial investment of US$7 million to set up a new company in Xiamen, China, to produce backlight modules. The new company, called Forhouse Electronics, will focus on backlight modules for LCD monitors and LCD TVs, and Forhouse expects that mass production will start towards the end of 2006. Details about production capacity were not yet known.
