Four Chinese TV Makers to Invest 10 Bln RMB for 6G TFT-LCD Plant

TCL, Konka, Skyworth, and Changhong, through their jointly established company Shenzhen Julong, will invest ten billion RMB to establish a 6G TFT-LCD panel production line in Shenzhen.
As reported in Asia Express on December 8, these four Chinese TV makers joined hands at the end of 2005 to jointly set up production of LCD panels in order to lower their dependence on Korean and Taiwanese panel makers.
