TTE's Wuxi Plant Kicks off Production

TTE (TCL-Thomson Electronics) has started production at its 500-million-yuan panel TV plant in Wuxi, China, in an attempt to grab 10% of global market share. With an expected annual capacity of six million in 2006, mainly for LCD TVs, HD TV, and PDP TVs, this plant will boost TTE's total shipment to 10 million units. In the next three year, the Wuxi plant is likely to achieve a shipment value of nine billion yuan.
