Japanese DNP to Set Up Antireflective Film Plant in Hiroshima

DNP (Dai Nippon Printing) is planning to set up an antireflective film fab in Japan's Hiroshima for flat panel display, in addition to its existing Okayama factory outputting eight million square meters of film per month. With the planned construction date from October 2005 to October 2006, this facility is forecast to achieve a monthly production capacity of five million square meters initially and expand to ten million by March 2008. Sales of the company's antireflective film in fiscal 2007 are projected to hit 70 billion yen.
