KEC Develops Smallest SSTR with High Conductivity
September 29, 2005
Korean KEC has developed the world's smallest SSTR (Small Signal Transistor) called ELP (Extremely small Leadless Package), measuring 0.6mm x 0.3mm x 0.28mm. In comparison with TFSC packages, devices using ELP can save 70% in space. Furthermore, ELP provides higher conductivity by shortening the distance between chips and circuit substrate. ELP is scheduled to go into mass production in December 2005.
