Asustek Hit by Shortage in Chipset Supply from Intel

Asustek recently announced that a shortage in chipset supply from Intel is currently hurting its motherboard production, which has fallen 10% to 15% short of demand in recent months. The shortage is expected to last until October. The company stated sales have been up in the third quarter, but it could have done even better if chipset supply would have been adequate.
