In response to the rising demand for LCD TVs and the ongoing capacity expansion on panel production lines, K-Bridge will be launching its new Lungtan backlight module plant in August 2005. With special focus on LCD TV backlight modules, monthly output at the plant is expected to reach 100,000 units. Further expansion will be conducted in accordance to customers' demand. CPT, K-Bridge's customer, will also begin mass production on its sixth-generation line in July this year, boding well for K-Bridge's Lungtan operation.

 

For closer supply to customers, K-Bridge has recently boosted the monthly capacity at its Wujiang plant by 1.2 million units. Panel makers that benefit from this expansion include CPT and Quanta.
