Fujitsu has developed a flexible color electronic paper that consumes power only when changing images. The color electronic paper is the world's first to be made from a substrate, and has image memory functionality, allowing image display even after turning off the power. Colors on the paper stay unaltered when bent without power supply. The energy-efficient nature of the new e-paper makes it suitable for posting advertisements and messages on rugged surfaces.
