Gigabyte Setting up Subsidiary for Notebook PC Marketing, Design

Gigabyte will be setting up a subsidiary, dubbed G-Note, to run its notebook PC marketing and design business. Capital for the new company is set at NT$100 million. The maker stresses that specialists with marketing expertise in the IT industry will be recruited into the subsidiary. It has been said that G-Note will outsource all notebook PCs to Quanta.
