Innolux is aggressively stepping into the LCD monitor contract manufacturing business, integrating LCD panel, light guide panel, and LCD monitor production. 15" and 17" LCD monitors now comprise the bulk of its LCD monitor shipments. Due to the tight supply on the maker's fifth-generation and 4.5 generation LCD panel lines, Innolux currently procures some half-finished panels from Hannstar for final assembly at its LCD module plant in Shenzhen China. It does, however, sell light guide panels to other manufacturers.
