Cadence Design Systems, a global electronics designer, announced that it will enhance the partnership with Taiwan's national CIC (Chip Implementation Center) in the hope of providing a design and verification platform, and creating a SoC (System on Chip) design and verification environment to assist in linking the academic community R&D results with industrial benefits, according to TechNews on March 22. The two parties will also establish a verification course for AI chips and applications while fostering AI talent for the industry. In the future, any AI research teams participating in the AI Project of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST) and all partners of CIC can leverage this verification platform for their AI chips.
