Taiwanese Forward to Boost Backlight Module Output at Wujiang Plant

According to Taiwan's Commercial Times, Taiwanese backlight module maker Forward Electronics, a subsidiary of the Tatung group, plans to boost capacity by 500,000 units at its plant in Wujiang, China through the second-phase construction currently underway. At present, the company delivers a monthly output of two million units at its Wujiang plant and 350,000 units at its Sanshia plant in Taiwan. In addition, the third-phase expansion at the Wujiang plant is also being planned.
