Maxscend Technologies Launches DAB/T-DMB Demodulator Chip

Shanghai-based Maxscend Technologies recently launched a mobile DTV (Digital Television) demodulator chip for DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting), DAB-IP (DAB Internet Protocol), and T-DMB (Terrestrial Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) standards. Maxscend's demodulator chip features a small size of mere 5mmx5mm and 65-ball BGA (Ball Grid Array) package, and minimum power consumption of 18mW. MXD0120 can be applied in various mobile devices, including mobile phones, PDA (Personal Digital Assistant), in-car entertainment GPS (Global Positioning System), PC cards, USB (Universal Serial Bus) peripherals, and DSC (Digital Still Camera).
