CRI, China Unicom Partner on Mobile TV Services

Chinese Xinhua News recently reported that CRI (China Radio International) and China Unicom have teamed up to offer mobile TV service. CRI has previously won China's third mobile TV license. Starting from April 6, 2007, China Unicom's CDMA1X users are able to access audio and video programs integrated by CRI from various sources, including CRI's own programs as well as content culled from regional TV stations and the Internet. CRI is currently in talks with China Mobile for similar cooperation as well.
