Taiwan's ITRI Establishes the World's First OCP Global Certification Testing Center

Taiwan's ITRI (Industrial Technology Research Institute) opened the first OCP (Open Compute Project) Global Certification Testing Center at the Open Compute Project Forum on March 4, according to ITRI's press release. The center will provide validation services to facilitate the development of open sourced hardware, including the specifications and standards of servers and storage systems installed in data centers. At the forum, OCP Taiwan and OCP Japan signed a memorandum of cooperation, both agreeing to promote the open standard in Asia Pacific region.
