Q: How do I register on the MIC website? Is it free?
A:  Registering on the website is free. Click on "register" on the homepage and fill in the registration form. Your login name and password will be active immediately.
Q: Why should I register on the MIC website? What are the benefits?
A:  Several areas on the website can only be accessed by our registered users. These include Asia Express, our news service which provides the latest information on developments in Asian ICT industries. Registering will also allow you to receive the weekly Asia Express newsletter which is sent out to registered users once a week. Another benefit for registered users is that they can view all available content in the Free Research Report section. Registered users can also choose to receive publication notifications of new research reports and information on sales promotions. Furthermore, in order to purchase reports on our website, you need to be a registered user in order to successfully complete the purchasing process.

Purchasing research reports on the MIC website
Q: How do I purchase individual research reports on the MIC website?
A:  Once you have decided you would like to buy one or more of our reports, please add the report(s) to your shopping cart by clicking on the "Add to Cart" logo on the right side of the report topic. The shopping cart will save your selected reports.
Q: I've looked through the abstract and lists of tables and figures of a report. I'm really only interested in one or two tables/figures. Is it possible to buy only parts of a report instead of the full report?

Q: How do I delete items from my shopping cart?
A:  If you would like to delete items from your shopping cart, please click on "Shopping Cart" icon on the top of Website homepage, after which you will be able to delete reports in your shopping cart on the next page by clicking on the cancel button next to the reports you wish to delete.
Q: How do I pay for my order?
A:  There are two payment options: by credit card, or by wire transfer. For credit card purchases, we accept Visa, Master, and JCB. If you choose to pay by wire transfer, we will provide you with MIC's banking details in order to successfully complete your wire transfer payment.
Q: How can I receive an invoice?
A:  On the order form you can select whether you would like to receive an invoice. After we receive your payment, you will be emailed an invoice.
Q: Are our product list prices subject to tax?
A:  If you purchase our products from a country other than Taiwan, our product list prices are not subject to tax. If you buy our products from Taiwan, the product list prices will be subject to local tax.
Q: Is the online shopping process secure?
A:  Yes, we are committed to creating a secure and safe environment for all of your online transactions. We protect the privacy of your personal information by using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption to prevent unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
Q: When will I receive my delivery?
A:  When your payment has been successfully completed, we will send you within one working day an e-mail with a username and password, which you can use to log in to the MIC website and download the report(s) you have purchased.
Q: What should I do if I have not received the delivery yet?
A:  If you have not received the delivery on the agreed upon date, please send an e-mail to: To ensure the successful delivery of your order, we suggest you leave your work email address.
Q: What is MIC's return policy?
A:  Due to the nature of the information being sold, we unfortunately cannot accept returns of products once they have been delivered. We strongly advice you to read all available information about a report before you place your order.

Q: How does the research offered in the On Demand section differ from MIC's other research products?
A:  MIC has a wide array of research resources. Not all the research done by MIC is directly put into a standard report format. However, to give our customers the opportunity to obtain this research, MIC has created the On Demand section.
Q: If I buy research in the On Demand section, how long will it take before I will receive this research report?
A:  Each research item you find in the On Demand section has a specific time period in which it can be delivered to you in report format. Please click on the research you're interested in to see the delivery period. In general, the delivery period varies between 7 working days to 15 working days. After receiving your On Demand order, our sales staff will be in contact with you for more details on the delivery period of the research report.

Q: I'm looking for research on a certain ICT topic, but I don’t seem to find any research reports related to this topic on the MIC website. Does this mean MIC doesn't conduct research on this topic?
A:  No, not necessarily. We have a broad range of research resources and the expertise of our analysts is not limited to the research reports you find on the website.
