At the TFT LCD industry base in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, BOE's seven material suppliers are wrapping up their construction projects and entering mass production. Nano Hitec included, three of BOE's suppliers have already begun volume production in the industry base. This boost in material supply is expected to integrate BOE's supply chain in the BOE Display Technology Park, located in the Area, as well as bring the maker's local procurement for its fifth-generation line to 30% by the end of 2005, and 80% by 2006.
