技術長

With EE degrees of BS, MS, and PhD from NTU, he was a lecturer, associate professor and professor at NTUEE for 25 years. His main teaching and research focuses started from microprocessor hardware and firmware, computer system and software, IC CAD software, and ended at digital IC design.
In between those years in NTU, he also took sabbatical leaves and worked as a visiting scholar at IBM TJ Watson Research Center (1978, New York), Carnegie Mellon University (1983, Pittsburg), UC Berkeley (1989, CA), NC State University (1994, Raleigh, NC), and as a Digital IC design engineer at a startup in Bay Area (1999).
After left NTUEE in 2000, he worked as a senior VP at a local digital camera company NuCam, leading RD team developing digital camera HW, SW, and products for 4 years. He joined ASUS in 2004 and led new technology development teams since then. Now he is the Natural Language Understanding (NLU) team manager of ASUS Intelligent Cloud Service (AICS) BU.
