Abstract

This research report presents household TV reception statistics of the major Asia-Pacific countries in 2007. The statistics of each country are broken down by TV reception method. Countries addressed in this report include China, India, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore. The content of this report is primarily based on data published in 4Q 2007 and 1Q 2008 by TV operators of the respective countries. This report finds that cable TV and analog terrestrial TV remain the most popular TV reception methods in the Asia-Pacific region.
