This research presents DRAM demand forecast of global production until the second quarter of 2016 and recent quarter DRAM performance review. The report includes DRAM market volume, supply and demand forecast and sufficiency ratio, and demand share by application and product type as well as bit shipment of major DRAM vendors. The content of this report is based on primary data obtained through interviews with DRAM venodrs. The report finds that mobile DRAM demand has surpassed commodity DRAM demand from PCs and servers to become mainstream, starting in the second quarter of 2015. However, due to the growth slowdown in emerging smartphone markets and the declining PC industry, DRAM demand is likely to witness a subdued growth in 2015 compared to 2014. Hence, the supply over demand issue is likely to continue troubling the global DRAM industry throughout 2015 and into 2016.
