Taiwanese ICT industry shipment value registered steady growth from 2002 to 2005 to hit US$95,089 million in 2005, contributed mainly by IT Hardware industry. Taiwanese IT hardware is expected to sustain its growth in global market share, with the exception of ODD products. Production in China accounted for the majority of the Taiwanese IT hardware shipment and is expected to grow further. The United States and Europe remained the major shipment destinations of the Taiwanese IT hardware industry in 2005.
