Abstract

Affected by declining demand for consumer products, notebook PCs and desktop PCs both have faced major setbacks; tablets also have witnessed first year-on-year decline in 2015 since debut. With the expansion of public and private cloud services and the rising demand for large-scale data centers, server market demand continues to show steady growth albeit down to a single-digit level. Amid the slowdown in product innovation, PC brands look to IoT applications for development and how efficiently companies can adjust unused capacity amid demand slowdown and control over manufacturing flexibility and system integration are key differentiators to help them gain growth momentum in the future.
