Abstract

This report presents worldwide PC market volume forecast per year for the period 2015-2019 and worldwide notebook PC market volume forecast per year for the period 2015-2019, as well as worldwide PC market volume forecast per quarter for the period 1Q 2015 - 4Q 2015 and worldwide notebook PC market volume forecast per quarter for the period 1Q 2015 - 4Q 2015. The report includes forecasts of worldwide notebook PC shipment volume and share by region, by panel size, and by CPU type. The report finds that the worldwide notebook PC market was bolstered mainly by demand for low-cost models in 2014. In 2015, despite the success of low-cost models, it is anticipated worldwide notebook PC shipment volume will dip slightly by 1.8% in 2015, due mainly to ongoing cannibalization of detachable tablets.
