Abstract

This research report presents Taiwanese residential VoIP equipment shipment volume forecast and recent quarter review of shipment volume, shipment value, and shipment by maker. The report includes manufacturer volume rankings, price trends, shipment volume by solution provider, and shipment by function. Also examined are production locations, shipment destinations, business types, customer portfolios, and key manufacturers' development. The content of this report is based on primary data obtained through interviews with residential VoIP equipment makers. The report finds that Taiwanese residential VoIP equipment shipment saw significant year-on-year growth in the fourth quarter of 2009. Among all four major products, only TA shipment recorded year-on-year declines in this quarter. Shipment volume is expected to see declines in the first quarter of 2010 due to the New Year holidays and the traditional off-season effect. However, shipment volume is projected to rebound in the second quarter, and the full-year volume is forecasted to see further growth compared with 2009.
