The 34th Computex held between June 3 and 7 attracted the participation of 1,710 exhibitors using 5,069 booths, according to TAITRA statistics. A total of 38,600 buyers, along with nearly 100,000 visitors, were drawn to the exhibition. The five highlights of the event included wearable technologies, mobile computing, cloud technologies and services, touch display, and smart technologies. The last two were new to the event this year. Thanks to the dramatic growth of the LTE (Long-Term Evolution) and IoT (Internet of Things) industries, chip, module, and equipment vendors participating in the event revealed various related products. This report profiles the wireless broadband products demonstrated at Computex 2014, and investigates the development trends in the industry.
